Today travelling abroad is easier than ever. For as little as £18 you can go over to Europe, and even flights further away are getting cheaper and cheaper. However, along with the opportunities which we have these days we also have more threats than ever before.
After the events 09/11 more people than ever felt discouraged from travelling abroad. As well as this there have been suicide bombings in hugely tourist areas such as Marmaris, Turkey and Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. These constant terrorist threats can leave people feeling reluctant to travel.
Luckily we live in a society where people refuse to be beaten by these terrorists, and no matter how reluctant they may feel we all know that as long as we are safe and follow advice that is given to us there is no reason why we cannot go away and enjoy ourselves.
We are constantly being given new ways and procedures to keep ourselves safe, and it is important that we follow them, not only for ourselves but for our fellow travellers.
